PAST EVENT: 14th June - High Carley Pleasure Ride
The High Carley Canter was a huge success and we received some wonderful comments.
We can't do these rides without our wonderful team of helpers
Frank, Will, Kitty, Flo, Emma, Denise, Janette, Rob and Dee, Gabrielle, Claire and Dave, Jeanette and Peter and finally Laura
We would also like to thank our hosts Anthony and Bev Sawrey of Woodside Farm and Camping in the Hayfield. It was a fantastic venue and we would love to go back
PAST EVENT: 12th July - Crosby Garrett Pleasure Ride
After another successful Crosby Garrett ride we'd like to thank all our hard working helpers on the day and those who marked the course on Saturday:
Pat, Grace, Leah, Frank, Ros, Kim, Suzanne and Paul, Debbie and Michele, Hilary, Sheila, Marie and John, Charlie and our first aider Budgie.
We'd also like to thank Sophie from Saracen Horse Feeds for attending all day with a weighbridge and nutritional advice.
Well done all the riders, horses and their crew.
And thank you to all the land owners and residents of Crosby Garrett.
A donation was made after the event to the Crosby Garrett Community to go towards the village playground as a small token of our appreciation
PAST EVENT: 15th August & 16th August - Cumbria Challenge Weekend
Thank you to Penny & Ray who did the majority of organising meaning that Esther & Kerry were able to take over at short notice. Thank you to Esther & Kerry who stepped up as ride organisers and to the rest of the Cumbria Committee who all chipped in meaning that the weekend could still go ahead.
Huge thank you to our venue hosts and our army of volunteers over the weekend who were organised by Julie, we’ve had some lovely comments about how friendly and smiley you all were.
Our huge array of prizes (who made sure that no one left without anything) were very kindly provided by our sponsors Rowen Barbary Horse Feeds
We were able to make a donation to the Great North Air Ambulance from the proceeds from the pleasure side on the Saturday.
PAST EVENT: 30th August - Smardale Pleasure Ride
A fabulous end to our season at the Smardale Ride.
Thank you Kaye and her helpers and thank you to all of you who attended, another popular ride and even the weather held out for us! We hope to see you all again next year.
After the ride, a donation was made to the Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue team
